Hello Beautiful

My name is Georgina

I am the founder of Yoni and You.

I am a photographer, mentor and guide for women. But most importantly, I am a mum of 3.

My story isn’t just about building a business.

It’s about finding myself when I felt completely lost in motherhood.

Picture this: I was 20, holding my first daughter, and completely overwhelmed. Most days, I barely made it out the door. The girl I used to be? She felt like a stranger. Postnatal depression crept in so quietly that I didn't even notice how becoming a mother had turned my world upside down. I kept comparing myself to this perfect version of motherhood but I fell short every single time.

Life kept moving. Two more beautiful souls joined our family – another daughter and then our son. Each brought their own joy and challenges with new dynamics, but that nagging feeling of losing myself? It stuck around like an unwanted houseguest.

Then came the day that changed everything.

My son was just 5 months old when I finally chose to do something for me. It was small, but it led me to my first women's circle. And in that moment, everything began. Sitting in that space with zero expectations, something shifted.

Through mentorship, women's circles, and embracing my own empowerment, I started finding pieces of myself I thought were gone forever. But here's the real magic: as I reconnected with myself, I became more present with my children. More free. More conscious. More connected.

Because I was the freedom I desired, the freedom to be me.

Now, I live life differently. Connection, awareness, and freedom aren't just words to me – they're how I show up every day, and it ripples through my whole family.

Here's what I want you to know: that guilt you feel about choosing yourself? Let it go. When you choose you, you're not just changing your life – you're showing your children what it means to live authentically. You're teaching them that it's okay to be fully, unapologetically themselves too.

Do not fear. Take my hand and allow me to walk you home authentically in your motherhood journey.
